Arlington Heights Historical Society

The Historical Society provides outstanding local and national exhibits for the entire Arlington Heights community in its new Heritage Gallery. Its success is due to generous supporters and volunteers who believe in the past, present and future preservation of history in Arlington Heights. But we are not an idle organization. There is much left to do in the preserving of our village’s history. Hence, the ‘Wee Bit of Irish’ Raffle Committee was formed to assist the museum in its fund-raising efforts.

Raising awareness in school age children of the importance not only of their own local heritage and that of a more global one has been a high priority.

Besides exhibits and education, the museum promotes cultural heritage by hosting an ethnic festival during the summer. This year’s Irish Fest is expected to attract over 2,000 people to the museum grounds.

The ‘Wee Bit of Irish’ Raffle is absolutely an essential fund-raising campaign that helps the Arlington Heights Historical Society carry out its mission to educate residents about the history of Arlington Heights and preserve artifacts for future generations.
