Annual Celebration of Irish Heritage Festival

Arlington Heights Historical Society & Museum Release Annual Celebration of Irish Heritage Festival Schedule 

Arlington Heights, IL- Come celebrate Irish Heritage at the 18th Annual Irish Fest at the Arlington Heights Museum campus at the corner of Euclid and Vail. Irish Fest is a two day celebration of all things Irish including music, dancing and food. This year’s celebration will be held from 5-11 pm on Friday July 14 and 4 -11 pm on Saturday July 15. Friday & Saturday admission prices are $5 for adults and children under age 15 are free. Saturday admission process for children ages 3-14 is $3 and children under 3 are free. 

The crowd will certainly stay entertained with a variety of bands, dance and other entertainment available on both days. The bands and dance groups that will be performing on Friday and Saturday include: Jimmy Keane, Trinity Irish Dancers, Big League Boys, and Modern Day Romeos on Friday. McNulty Irish Dancers, Small Potatoes, Mulligan Stew, and Epic Rocks on Saturday. Other entertainment includes Balloon Art, Irish Crafts, Games and an Irish Raffle. 

Everyone in the family is sure to find something they can enjoy in this weekend of fun and culture. Food vendor, Harrington’s Irish Restaurant will provide an arrangement of Irish dishes. In addition, numerous vendors will have an array of Irish goods for sale.

The Arlington Heights Historical Museum celebrates the link between the past and the present. The museum is a cooperative effort of the Village of Arlington Heights, Arlington Heights Park District, Arlington Heights Memorial Library and Arlington Heights Historical Society.
