Have you ever found something really old on the ground? Did you wonder what else might be hidden just below the surface? Experience first hand how to use a metal detector as a useful and exciting way to explore our past. Time will be spent both outdoors using a metal detector and indoors to discuss research and preservation. Some exploration will be off-site. Metal detectors will be available to use, however you may also bring your own to class.

Program will run 9am-noon each day. Looking for a full day experience? Pair this camp with Camp Lunch fun (code 21665) from noon-1pm and the Hometown History camp (code 21664) from 1pm-4pm.
