The Arlington Heights Historical Society (AHHS) continues the Founders’ vision of preserving the history of our great village. We are excited to share that the Society and the Arlington Heights Park District jointly applied for a Tourism Attractions and Festivals Grant. Each organization has pledged $7,500 towards the $15,000 requirement. If awarded, the grant matches our $15,000 for a total of $30,000. The money raised will bring more history and events to the museum grounds on Saturday mornings during the Farmers Market season. These events would further enhance our current Market programming and could include the following: musical performances, half-day mini-history camps, historical lectures, and historical demonstrations.
During this season of giving, the Arlington Heights Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) organization, is asking for your help to “Meet the Match.” Our hope is that with your generous support we can attain the $7,500 the Society has pledged to fulfill its purpose of preserving and presenting the history of Arlington Heights for its members and the community. Are you in? If you can help us meet the match, please contribute below!
