PARK DISTRICT CLOSURE UPDATES RELATED TO COVID-19
Based upon Governor Pritzker’s announcement yesterday to extend his stay at home order, we will be extending the closure of all Park District facilities through May 30. This includes Lake Arlington and Sunset Meadows.
GOLF CLUBS
The Governor’s latest modification of the stay at home order allows golf to begin on May 1st. Once the specifications of the order are completed by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity we will get out information regarding both Arlington Lakes and Nickol Knoll Golf Club. Please call 847-577-3030 or check back on our website for the latest updates.
PROGRAM/MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
All programs, events and rentals previously scheduled in April and May will be cancelled. Our first option is to give all customers a credit to their account. Credits on account can be used for future programs, events, rentals, or memberships at the park district. If a refund is desired, please submit the request online. You can access the form here.

Facility memberships have been frozen and once a return date is determined we will communicate the activation plan.
SUMMER PROGRAM GUIDE AND SUMMER REGISTRATION UPDATES
The Park District has decided to forgo the printing of the
Summer 2020 Program Guide. We will continue to update the online guide as new information becomes available that will impact our summer programming. See
Summer Program Guide.
LAKE ARLINGTON, SUNSET MEADOWS AND PARKS UPDATE
Effective April 2, 2020, to further support the Governor’s initiative to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Park District has decided to fully close the Sunset Meadows and Lake Arlington Park properties and all park amenities, including the paths, on those properties. Additionally, all Park District playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts and hard play surfaces are closed until further notice. This is not a decision the District took lightly, as seeing people enjoy our parks and facilities is our passion. However, we are all in this together. The sooner everyone does their part to get through this pandemic, the sooner we can all get back to the things we love and enjoy. With the exception of the amenities previously listed all other neighborhood parks and open spaces remain open for walking, hiking, biking, and running as long as park users comply with social distancing requirements.
